# CAW's Colt 1851 Navy

The highest quality replica money can buy second to only the [Uberti/Cimarron gun](/the-gun/cimarrons-arms-gun.md). This is a replica percussion model pistol made by the Japanese manufacturer CAW ("Craft Apple Works"). 

It's made in multiple variants, a black version,  a black and brass version, and even a sub-nosed all black version. None of CAW's models come with the trademark Snake grips. The one that is closest to Eastwood's is called by CAW the "4th version"
